Enjoy a cup of Moon Milk to calm and relax the body before diving into self-care, rituals, baths, journaling, before bed, and more.

  • 1 1/4 cups milk of choice

  • 3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1/4 teaspoon ashwagandha powder

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • Sweetener of choice to taste

  • One tea bag or one teaspoon loose herb of choice (optional)

  • 1-2 teaspoons ghee or coconut oil (optional)

  • Organic flower petals for garnish (optional)

1. Add milk to a small saucepan. Sprinkle turmeric, ashwagandha powder, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper evenly over the surface to prevent clumping when you whisk. Add loose tea of choice (if using) and whisk until well combined. If you’re using a chamomile tea bag, add it to the pot after whisking everything together.

2. Heat the pan to a simmer. When it simmers, please remove it from heat and cover the pan with a lid. Allow to steep for 5-10 minutes.

3. Once the moon milk is done steeping, remove the tea bag or strain the liquid into a mug. Don’t forget to get the condensation from the lid back into your cup. These drops of water hold the medicinal oils of the plant material used.

4. Add sweetener to taste. If desired, stir in a teaspoon or two of ghee or coconut oil for additional creaminess and blend with a frother.
